The motivation for the establishment of B.P. Services was to enable Malaysian scholars have access to high quality peer reviewed articles, and also to enable researchers across the globe have access to articles published by researchers without any form of restriction. Professor Kanwal has over 37 years professional experience primarily in Management and Research Administration with a demonstrated history of working in a large public university. He is skilled in Academic Publishing, and scholarly Publications. Whilst with the university, he managed all the academic journals and was responsible to bring many journals into SCIPUS and WoS ESCI and maintain their status continuously for more than 15 years.
This led to the publication of the first issue – the JHSSR in 2019. Professor Nayan Kanwal, co-Founder, B.P. Services captured this motivation in three of his articles published between 2019 and 2021. In these articles, Professor Kanwal argues for the need of scientific journals to adopt the open access model. He stated that open access model of publication is the most effective way to distribute research output, bridge the information gap between developing and advanced countries and help improve research productivity worldwide. In addition, he is currently the Editor-in-Chief of the International Journal of Social Sciences and Artistic Innovations, ISSN: 2737-5293.
JHSSR is an international journal, founded in 2019, publishes papers on all aspects of humanities, and social sciences. In the past few years JHSSR has published the work of over 900 researchers and professionals, and the journal’s archive now contains several hundred articles. The journal is indexed in the MCC, ISC, Google Scholar and Academia. It is a member of Crossref and is guided by the COPE principles. We are anxiously waiting for its impact factor to build up rapidly.
JHSSR has a distinguished Board of Editors, Associate Editors, Emeritus and Advisory Editors and works with thousands of expert peer reviewers around the globe. A minimum of two issues are published each year and the journal is available in the libraries of several universities all over the world.
Hosting international symposiums, conferences, seminars, and workshops is another objective addressed by B.P. Services.
Our Journal
Horizon Journal of Humanities and Social Sciences Research (JHSSR), published by B.P. Services is a one-stop, open access source for a large number of high quality and peer reviewed articles in all the fields of social sciences, and the humanities. Scholars involved in research can make the most of this growing global forum to publish papers covering their original research or extended versions of already published conference/journal papers, scholarly journals, academic articles, etc. in Horizon JHSSR.
The published papers are made highly visible to the scientific community through a wide indexing policy adopted by this online scholarly journal. Hence, they can freely be accessed and utilized by everyone for the development of social sciences and humanities.
Being a part of an eco-friendly community, JHSSR favors and promotes e-publication of papers to truly present itself as an online ‘GOLD journal.’
Our journal is handled by dedicated Editors who are active senior academicians in the specific subject areas and many of them are discoverable in the world's leading scientific indexes.
Open Access Policy
HORIZON is an OPEN ACCESS journal that adheres to the Budapest Open Access Initiative (BOAI) definition of open access. Advocating for open science, at B.P. Services we take it as our duty to make the research published with us openly available to everyone. This is why journal articles and issues are immediately distributed worldwide upon publication, free to read, download and print.
We have adopted as default the Creative Commons Attribution License 4.0 for all publications in any B.P. journal, meaning that any published work is available for distribution as long as the original publication source is acknowledged. Again in the spirit of open and collaborative research, authors are encouraged to post their work online (e.g., institutional repositories or their websites). Such practices trigger productive exchange, as well as earlier and greater citation of published work.
