Horizon Journal of Humanities and Social Sciences Research (JHSSR), Online ISSN 2682-9096 is a premier journal in its field has an illustrious editorial as well as International advisory board that has renowned scholars from various disciplines of research with diverse geographical background engaged with universities in 35 countries across the world ensuring that all specialisations are appropriately covered with the scope of the journal.

The International Advisory Board is composed of academics, each of which commits to actively undertake their term for a minimum period of 36 months, renewable for a period of 24 months.

Role of the International Advisory Board

The Horizon Journal’s Editorial Board consist of the Editor(s)-in-Chief, a Chief Executive Editor and Associate Editors. The Chair of the Editorial Board is the Editor-in-Chief. An editorial board consists of selected, unpaid experts in the academic field.

In addition, JHSSR also has an International Advisory Board (IAB). The primary role of IAB member is to help provide strategic guidance and, importantly, independent advice and sound judgment.

The International Advisory Board (IAB) is established to provide the Journal with the benefit of the expertise and knowledge of a highly select group of individuals of different nationalities who are internationally recognized experts in their own fields.

The IAB comprises persons from various fields as required by the journal, external to the Journal’s editorial board with an aim to establish an international vision of the journal and allow it to benefit from the experience of major players.

The International Advisory Board members may serve as a manuscript reviewer when required and also provide second opinion on manuscripts (e.g. where reviews are incomplete, or rejection of a commissioned article has been recommended by certain reviewer/s) and a decision on a suitability of a manuscript cannot be reached.

IAB also advises so as to enhance the quality, credibility and comprehensive coverage of the published articles and to share stimulating ideas and creative experiences with our editorial board members from time to time in line with the journal's goals to be an indexed journal.

IAB Members also act as an ambassador for the journal: to help promote the journal to authors and readers, and encourage colleagues to submit their best work to JHSSR. In addition, they also encourage students and colleagues to read and cite the journal.
