A poet, translator, literary critic and academician Pradeep Trikha to his credit has number of books and more than sixty papers, articles, reviews on literature, bhakti and Sufi poetry culture and history. His expertise also lies in English, and Australian Literature.
Trikha has written several monographs on contemporary writers and has conducted extensive research on medieval bhakti poets such as Baba Farid and Meera Bai. He has travelled widely for the academic assignments. He has delivered lectures in University of Washington, Seattle, Harvard University, Boston, USA and is a Visiting fellow at University of Sydney, Sydney since 1999. He has also been a fellow at Indian Institute of Advanced Studies, Shimla. His well-received books are Delphic Intimations: Interviews with Australian Creative Writers & Critics (2006). Celebrating Multiplicity in the Plays of Girish Karnad and Literature, Nation and Revolution: Celebrating 150th year of 1857 (Ed.), his latest book is Dynamics of Cultural Diversity. He is the Editor-in-Chief for International Journal on Art, Culture and Museum Studies, Objet-d-Art and Sukhadia University Journal of English Literary Studies.
He is a Professor and Head in the Department of English and the Director, International Students’ Affairs at Mohanlal Sukhadia University, Udaipur.
Currently he is a Visiting Professor at University of Münster @WWU Muenster, Germany
